The Senior Adult Ministry seeks to embrace and respond to God's view of aging, offering opportunities for friendship, learning, and joy for both seniors and those who are caregivers.

The Senior Adults at Calvary Memorial Church are an integral part of the church family, serving as elders, Sunday School teachers, choir members, greeters, and in many other capacities. They are excellent role models for the younger members of the church body.  Many of them make it their special ministry to pray for the church leadership, family and ministries.

Visitation
Calvary Memorial Church has a heart for our senior adults, especially those in assisted-living and nursing-care facilities as well as those who may be homebound. We have a visitation system in place to ensure that our seniors are getting sufficient contacts. Visitors leave a greeting card to help relatives recognize that a visit has been made. The card contains words of Scriptural encouragement and comfort.

Caring
Our Caring Ministry keeps in touch with those in residential care and our homebound seniors through visitation and regular church mailings.

The Senior Adult Visitation Center, located at the Information Center, is provided to support those doing visitation and to encourage others to make calls. Greeting cards, visitation cards, tracts and quarterly Our Daily Bread devotional booklets can be obtained there. Other materials such as Bibles, gifts and recordings of our church services can be requested at the church office.
