Giving to Calvary Memorial Church

Giving is at the heart of the message of the Gospel. John 3:16 says, God so loved the world that He gave...

While the use of our finances can be a sensitive issue in the context of church, it is also one of the best ways to reveal the priorities of our hearts, according to Jesus.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)

Here at the Calvary Memorial Church, we include Biblical giving within the larger context of Biblical stewardship defined as managing all the resources entrusted to us by God for His benefit and glory. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. (1 Corinthians 4:2) The standard for our stewardship is found in 2 Corinthians 9:15, Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.
